January 14th - 15th

Twentyfour players came to Rome for the European Grand Prix. Paolo Scognamiglio played very well on the first day. He won 6 games and played 1 draw. Michele Borassi only  had 4.5 points at the end of the first seven rounds but had a strong come-back on the second day of the tourney. And so they both qualified for the final with 8.5 points

Final 1st place:

Paolo Scognamiglio  won the first game 33 - 31.
Michele Borassi won the second and third match 52-12 and 34-30 and took home the largest trophy.

Playoff 3rd - 4th place:

Two french players battled for 3rd place. Frédéric Auzende 35 - 29 Marc Tastet 
Next stage European Grand Prix: Cambridge, United Kingdom, 25 - 26 February
