Thierry Levy-Abégnoli and Manu Lazard had qualified for the Finale du Grand Prix de France. They were unable to play in this 2-day event and were replaced by Stéphane Nicolet and Sandry Andriani. Arnaud Delaunay won the Finale du GP de France last year 2-1 against Takuji. This year it only took him 2 games, 2-0. |

Romy Hidayat wins AOI Grand National

In 2011 the first AOI Grand National was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The 2011 champion Michael Handel was present at the second edition of the Grand National to defend his title. The semifinals were very exciting, the two finalists of 2011 both made their way to the final. This time Romy Hidayat won the title and the trophy and the handmade othello board that was used for the final game. Romy Hidayat studied in Europe and played a lot of othello tourneys in The Netherlands and other European countries. Check the results per player at the WOF-site. |
