Marc Tastet was on first place with 5.5 points after round 6. Second place with 5 points for Takuji Kashiwabara, Karsten Feldborg and Matthias Berg. Matthias was Marc's opponent in round 7 and Marc won. Move 45 C1 was a losing move for Matthias playing Black. So Marc Tastet still leads after the last round of the first day with 6.5 points. The draw game for Marc was in round 3 against Hanrik Vallund.
Karsten Feldborg also won his game in round 7 (40 - 24 against Henrik Vallund) and Takuji Kashiwabara won against Tor Birger Skogen (6 - 58). So no great changes at the top except for Matthias. Four more rounds tomorrow and the final. Imre has 140 EGP points, Takuji has 95 and Marc has 19 EGP Points. I think of them will be on top of the list after stage 3 but anything can happen. Marc Tastet wrote that this tournament is almost a veteran tournament: except for Matthias (almost 35 years) all other players are older than 46. |
