EGP 2015: Miroslav Voráček leads after 4 stagesMiroslav Voráček is still in the lead even though so far he has only played in 3 EGP tourneys. Takuji Kashiwabara did not make it to the final in the first three tourneys, but he played a very good swiss round at the EGP Oslo (9.5/11) and he won the final 2-1 against Imre Leader. If he plans to hold on to the title of European Champion, he will have to win a couple more, but there are 3 more stages to go. Imre Leader (3rd) and Francesco Marconi (4th) really need a win to catch up. Imre will have to get his points in Ghent. Franceso Marconi won the EGP Athens in 2013, maybe he will win the second EGP Athens too. he could even be aiming for an Olympic streak.
