I have been organizing and directing Othello tournaments for 30 years now. At the National Open today, I announced my decision to call it quits as an organizer. It is my intention to continue playing tournament Othello for a long time to come. I want to thank everyone who has supported my events and my love of the game over the years. The Othello community is truly special. Thank you all.
Lots of reactions of Othello players on this annoucement. To sum it up: David did a great job and the Othello community is grateful for all the work he did for USA Othello. I met David and his wife Linda at the WOC in the Netherlands in 2012 and they are really wonderful people.
