Takuji Kashiwabara leads European Grand Prix 2011 

Takuji Kashiwabara from France won only 27 points in Köln and now has 457 points, but Marc Tastet {FR} did not get any points at all and stays at 2nd place with 400 points.
Number 3 and 4 are two players from the Netherlands Roel Hobo (200 + 60) and Nicky van den Biggelaar (90 + 140).
Imre Leader {GB} won 27 points and is at 5th place with 227 points. 
David Hand {GB} had not played an EGP tourney this year and enters the EGP ratinglist 2011 at 6th place with 200 points.
7th place, Miroslav Voracek {CZ}, did only play in the Prague tourney where he won 90 points and Matthias Berg {DE} who received 90 points for his 3rd place in Köln.
Tom Schotte {BE} won another 4 points and is at 9th place with 79 points. At number 10, Ruben Saiz {ES}, 60 points.

Takuji Kashiwabara won the EGP four times (2001, 2002, 2003, and the last time in 2006). 
Marc Tastet also won the EGP 4 times, (1993, 1994, 1995, 1997). 
Roel Hobo won 1 EGP tournament, Prague 2008.
Nicky van den Biggelaar also won 1 EGP tournament, Prague 2007.
Imre Leader won the EGP 5 times (1986, 1988, 1991, 2007 and 2010). 
The two young dutch players wedged themselves in a pack of formidable EGP champions.

Two more EGP tourneys to go, Gent Belgium, July 30 - 31 and Paris France, August 27 - 28. 

David Hand wins  European Grand Prix Köln

Finals:
No final games played between David Hand and Nicky van den Biggelaar.
Unforeseen circumstances forced Nicky to return to the Netherlands and he forfeited the games.
David Hand won the final by default. Both players are granted the normal EGP points for first and second place.
